EARLY WORK 1990-1998

The themes that continue to shape MAYO’s work become visible: space, surface, structure, and construction.

This phase is marked by a finely balanced analytical and playful attitude. The works trace the transition from experimental searching toward an inner order; one in which intuitive forms are translated into precise yet open structures.
