Since the passing of his mother, the Swiss avantgarde artist Heidi Bucher (1926–1993) and his father,
the sculptor and humanist Carl Bucher (1935–2015), MAYO, his studio and his family have been deeply
involved in the care and administration of both artistic estates.
Since 2013, the house acquired by artist and curator Mayo Bucher has served as a site for curated
exhibitions and artistic interventions. Its program fosters an intergenerational dialogue between
contemporary positions and the legacy of the Bucher–Feuerstein family.
